Bach in Northville

On March 1st, Lynne will perform several works by J.S. Bach in a concert at First Presbyterian Church of Northville. Conducted by Dr. Darlene Kuperus, this concert features the Northville Concert Choir, several outstanding vocal soloists, and the Michigan Sinfonietta. Featured music includes selections from Cantata 80, Cantata 35, Cantata 147, Orchestral Suite #3, and Magnificat. Lynne’s husband Mark Flegg is also a featured soloist with soprano Karen Roberts on selections from Cantata 51.

Windsor Canadian Music Festival 2009

As part of the Windsor Canadian Music Festival, Lynne will join members of the Windsor Symphony to present several new works in two different programs.

On February 28th at 7:30pm, the Windsor Symphony will present a concert featuring the world premieres of new compositions by Canadians Shelley Marwood and Michael Richard Plowman along with the international premieres of compositions by American composers Kristin Kuster and Eric Santos.

On March 1st at 2:00pm, Lynne will participate in a Conductor/Composer Workshop, reading new works by emerging composers.

Windsor Symphony: Ode to St. Cecilia

Lynne will join the Windsor Symphony Orchestra as guest Principal Oboe for their first Intimate Classics Concert of 2009. With the Windsor Classic Chorale, the orchestra will perform Henry Purcell’s masterpiece Ode to St. Cecilia. Also on the program is Handel’s Coronation Anthem #2.

Maestro John Morris Russell will lead the performances, which feature vocal soloists Peggy Dwyer (soprano), Elsie Inselman (alto), Catherine McKeever (alto), Robert Voelker (tenor), and Kevin McMillan (bass-baritone). The concerts will take place at:

On January 4th, Lynne will appear with the Cathedral Orchestra to present a concert at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit. This afternoon event of Epiphany Lessons and Carols will feature:

• the Cathedral Children’s Choir
• the Symphonia Chorale of Romeo
