Michigan Opera: “La Rondine”

From April 19 – 26, Lynne will be performing Giacomo Puccini’s opera La Rondine with the Michigan Opera Theater orchestra, led by Maestro Stephen Mercurio.

John Rutter “Mass for the Children”

Metropolitan Detroit Chorale




On March 16th, Lynne join the orchestra accompanying the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale for their spring Masterworks concert. The concert program includes three works by John Rutter: Five Orchestral Meditations, Distant Land, and The Mass for the Children.

The Flint Symphony Orchestra’s March concert
will continue in the theme of “The Wonder of it All: The Majesty of Nature through the Grandeur of Music”.

Lynne will perform with the FSO on their concert, featuring the following program:

  • Mendelssohn’s Hebredies Overture
  • Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor, with soloist Amir Khosrowpour (winner of the 2007 Byrd Competition)
  • Vaughan Williams’ Symphony #7: “Antarctica”

The orchestra is excited to welcome back guest conductor Francesco Maria Columbo to lead this exciting program. The performance will include the women of the Flint Festival Chorus, under the direction of Bradley Bloom.
