Bach Fest 2009 at Christ Church Cranbrook

Christ Church Cranbrook continues their annual tradition of presenting a February concert of cantatas written by Johann Sebastian Bach. Lynne will perform with the Baroque Festival Orchestra, accompanying the chorus and soloists in presenting:

• Cantata BWV 140 – Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme (“Sleepers, Wake”)
• Cantata BWV 147 – Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben (“Heart and Mouth and Deed and Life”). This cantata includes the famous movement, “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”.

Admission to this concert is free.
