Lynne will join the Windsor Symphony Orchestra as guest Principal Oboist on their November 24th Classics concert.

“The Creation” by Haydn

On Sunday, November 18th, Lynne will appear with the Christ Church Grosse Pointe Chorale and Orchestra to perform Franz Josef Haydn’s oratorio “The Creation”.

Scott Hanoian will take the podium to conduct this masterpiece.

The concert will feature vocal soloists Meredith Hanoian (soprano), Brian White (tenor), and James Gray (bass).

Duo Recital: Salon with High Tea



teacupThe Great Lakes Consort will present a duo recital with oboist/English hornist Lynne Marie Flegg and her husband, trumpeter Mark Flegg on Wednesday, November 14th.

Organist Joseph Daniel will join Lynne and Mark to present an hour-long Salon concert with High Tea at Christ Church Cranbrook.

Music on this program includes selections for oboe solo, English horn solo, trumpet solo, and trio written by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Henry Purcell, Robert Mueller, Robert Bradshaw, Oskar Wermann, and Jean-Joseph Mouret.

Admission to the concert is free, but seating is limited for this casual concert.

Mahler’s Third Symphony



Flint SymphonyLynne will be joining the Flint Symphony Orchestra to perform one of her favorite orchestral works: the Third Symphony of Gustav Mahler.

Under the baton of maestro Enrique Diemecke, the Flint Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the outstanding mezzo soprano soloist Wendy Bloom, along with the Women of the Flint Festival Chorus under the direction of Bradley Bloom, and the Flint Festival Youth Chorus, directed by Sylvia Pittman.

The concert will take place at Flint’s beautiful Whiting Auditorium, located within the Flint Cultural Center. Click here for a map and directions.
