Join Lynne and the DSO for a week of patriotic concerts at the beautiful Greenfield Village from July 2-5. Sit on the lawn, have a picnic with friends and family, and enjoy the 16th Annual Salute to America. This concert will feature American symphonic music and marches, and will conclude with the big finale: Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, accompanied by cannons and fireworks.
All of the concerts begin at 8:30pm at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. Visit this Greenfield Village website for more information, including ticket pricing, coupons, and maps: http://www.thehenryford.com/events/annualSalute.aspx
Note that the Greenfield Village grounds open at 6:00pm. Activities and events will happen prior to the 8:30pm concert. I’d recommend you get there early to enjoy the ambiance of Greenfield Village, get a nice seat on the lawn, and enjoy the prelude concert and events!
