Lynne will join the Flint Symphony Orchestra for their January 19th classics concert.

The FSO’s program includes the Piano Concerto #1 in d minor by Johannes Brahms with soloist Angela Cheng, and Richard Strauss’ symphonic masterpiece Alpine Symphony.

Maestro Enrique Diemecke will lead the FSO in this concert, which will include a large orchestra including an oboe-family instrument that is rarely heard – the heckelphone. There were only about 150 heckelphones ever produced, and it’s beleived there are less than one hundred working heckelphones in the world today.

For more information about this concert, including ticket sales, visit the FSO’s website at www.thefim.org/fso.asp
