Windsor Symphony plays Mendelssohn’s “Italian”

Windsor Symphony

Lynne will join the Windsor Symphony Orchestra as guest Principal Oboist on their November 24th Classics concert.

Maestro John Morris Russell will take the podium to lead the orchestra in this exciting program:

  • Serenade #1, Opus 11 by Johannes Brahms
  • Romance Op. 11 in f minor by Antonin Dvorak, featuring the outstanding violin soloist Lillian Scheirich
  • The Symphony #4, “Italian Symphony” Opus 21 by Felix Mendelssohn

The concert will take place at 8:00pm at Windsor’s Chrysler Theater, which is easily accessible from the Ambassador Bridge or Detroit/Windsor tunnel.
